According to Astrology , there are certain  items which one should avoid buying on Saturdays or even should not be brought at home on Saturdays.  

  1. Iron brings Bad Luck
    Things made of Iron in any form brings bad luck to the buyer  and his family but Donating iron made things brings prosperity and upliftment in business and wealth.
  2. Oil brings sickness
    It is believed that one should not buy Mustard oil or vegetable oil on Saturdays as it brings sickness in home, whereas if you are running Shani Sadesatti then donating oil appease Lord Shani.
  3. Salt brings debts
    Buying salt on Saturday brings debt to buyer and his family members. Buy Salt on any other day except Saturday.
  4. Broom brings poverty
    Broom creates positive energy in house by cleaning negative energies out of home but Buying broom on Saturdays brings poverty so never buy broom on Saturdays or Tuesdays.
  5. Ink brings disgrace
